This is a very well-written book! The plot is complex without being burdensome. The characters are likable and believable, and their relationships are realistic and engaging, complete with humor, pathos, and sexual tension. Some of the author's greatest skills are in world-building and scene-setting; his descriptions are painted with a bright pallet and deft brush strokes. Overall, this is one of the best fantasies that I have ever read for IndieBRAG.
